We Cannot Accept These Items

The Rummage Sale is not able to accept the following items because of the cost of disposal when they do not sell.  There are several places that may take such items. They are listed at the bottom of this page.

NO non-working appliances
NO large appliances
NO wall-to-wall carpeting
NO carpet padding
NO sofa beds
NO steel desks
NO mattresses
NO window blinds
NO lumber
NO plumbing fixtures
NO magazines 
   NO PIANOS OR ORGANS
ONLY RECENT (LESS THAN 5 YEARS OLD) COMPUTERS, COMPUTER MONITORS OR TELEVISIONS
  • In Oakland County, SOCRRA accepts much of the above, some things by appointment, others at one of their drop-off centers.
