Our all-purpose shopper support team

Answer questions 

Provide directions to restrooms, departments

Help monitor cash boxes during sale days

Help shoppers find a cashier (in case they still need to pay)

Some seated jobs, some walking jobs

2 or 3-hour shifts Sunday - Thursday

Be a welcoming, smiling face – represent FPC to the community

CASHIER CORPS

Our friendly financial force: rummage is our love, money is our goal

Greet shoppers with a smile 

Add up purchase prices (compute discount or surcharge)

Take money, make change

Bag and tag purchases

2 or 3 hour shifts Monday - Thursday

SORTERS AND RUNNERS

Putting rummage in it's place 

Categorize donated items by department and place in piles

Deliver the goods to waiting departments

Great exercise!

Determine what will sell and what really IS junk

Arrange and display items attractively

Welcome shoppers

SELL the wonderful things in your department

Sunday – Thursday: workshifts organized by Department Chairs

SET-UP AND CLEAN-UP CORPS

REMEMBER: FPC is ACTUALLY a church

Transform our church into a shopping paradise and back into a church

Move tables, clothes racks, supplies into and out of storage

Help set up on Sunday

Clean up Thursday 2pm – 5 pm and Friday until done

And after a week of hard work, celebrate with us!
